A TRUE FAMILY BUSINESS...........

Originally a Watchmaker and Jeweller, Don Browning established his first business in 1948, eventually diversifying into Trophies and Engraving in 1978, opening the original Don Browning Trophies in Cheltenham's High Street with his late wife, Doreen.

As a former cricket Umpire, and one of the original founder members of the North Gloucestershire Motor Cycle Road Racing Club, Don was able to bring his great wealth of knowledge of Gloucestershire's sporting scene to great use, establishing Cheltenham's first specialist Trophy and Engraving outlet.

In 1980, Don and Doreen's youngest son, Richard, joined the business as an engraver, and took over the running of the company in 1997. Also from a sporting background, Richard is a single-figure handicap golfer, and keen follower of Gloucester Rugby Club.

Tracey Russell, familiar to most of our customers, joined in 1998 as Manager, dealing with the day to day running of the business, and remains the first contact for the majority of our many customers. Traceys' professionalism and organisational skills are greatly valued (even if she is an Arsenal fan!!).

In April 2007, Don Browning Trophies moved premises into St Georges Street, Cheltenham (click on How To Find Us for map & directions), where we continue to provide all of our customers with the unrivalled service they have come to expect.
